Editorial Review: Feliway, also known as Comfort Zone New 75 mL bottle for same price! Feliway spray can help stop cat spraying. Both male and female cats, because of hormonal and behavior problems, can start spraying urine on objects or areas. Feliway contains pheromone-like substances which discourages this behavior when it is applied to the area the pet has sprayed. One depression of the Feliway pheromone spray nozzle should be applied approximately 4" from the site, 8" from the floor. Only one spray per application site is necessary. Urine marks and prominent objects should be treated one to two times daily for 30 days. Maintenance application every two to three days may be necessary in some situations.  It worked for me!, 2008-06-25
My husband and I were remodeling our condo, and all of the comotion must have made our cat uneasy, because one day, out of the blue he started peeing on the floor in front of the bath tub. His cat box was clean, in fact it was only steps away from where he was peeing. I was shocked, because he is such a good cat and never does anything like that. We had to get rid of our other cat because she started going to the bathroom outside the box, and I knew if this didn't stop, we'd have to do the same with him. So, i tried various solutions, and nothing worked, he still kept going back to that same spot. I found Feliway online, and I read the reviews. I noticed it worked for some people and not for others, so I figured I'd give it a shot, but I wasn't going into it with any high expectations. I sprayed it once and everyday afterward I checked to see if he had peed and there was nothing there! I couldn't believe it. Just spraying once did the trick. I sprayed it one more time just for good measure. That was probably a month ago now and he has stayed away from that spot. I honestly couldn't believe something like this would work, but it did! It was well worth the money, because now we get to keep the cat we love and cherish so much.

I bought Feliway to help stop my neutered male cat from spraying our new furniture. It worked well and he seems much more calm and relaxed.

the diffuser is very effective. The spray is not effective. My cats sprayed the rug the day after I sprayed it with Feliway.

I don't know how it works, but it does!, 2008-05-27
I have no idea how this product works, but it does! When my fiance and I moved our cats together (he has two boys, I have a female) we thought they would never get along. My cat has been flying solo since the day I brought her home and has never really interacted with other animals. For about 2 weeks, there was spitting and hissing, they wouldn't even come out of their separate rooms. I bought the spray and used it on the carpet where she eats, her bed, and in her carrier. I'm not sure if it was just time for her to finally give up and get along with them or if this spray really does the trick. It seemed to work for me. I was skeptical at first, but a month and a half later, they are playing with eachother and sleeping side by side!

 Not impressed with performance, 2008-05-27
I bought this after glowing recommendation from my vet to combat "marking" of territory by my male Siamese. I washed and dried carpets several times over a long weekend, then put this stuff to the test. Sadly, I saw no difference. I also tried it on a favored couch that he most enjoys scrathing.
All in all, I found that wide clear tape on the couch arm and tinfoil on the carpet he liked to mark, along with plenty of aversion therapy dosed out by my trusty toy water pistol, did the trick much better, and cost much less.
